Water fetch Painting

Water fetch Painting is part of my painting series “Water is Life”. It depicts what most African Women in some rural or country areas go through on a constant or periodic basis. They move miles away from their home to search for water for daily chores. This painting therefore depicts that females from these places are a bedrock to the family unit. They are depended on to take care of the home and children.
